Thank you for responding to our taste survey.
We have been inundated with replies, several thousand in the last few days. Our server is able to track the majority of these responses to freebie websites as the offer has been picked up by dozens of such websites around the world.
The survey was designed to ensure that we had our product right and to investigate the extent of differing tastes in smoked salmon eaters as we started our business.
As we are sure you will understand, for this survey to be valid and of benefit to us, we would require a cross section of responses from people looking for a regular supplier of smoked salmon - rather than people looking for a free sample.
We are a very small farmhouse producer, just starting our business with only two part time employees and it has become unpractical for us to include every respondent in our taste survey.
Due to the extraordinary response, we have decided to increase the scale of our survey from that which had been originally intended, but even so, we will have to select and limit the numbers taking part. At this time we will be making that selection from respondents within the U.K.
We appreciate that many will be disappointed in not receiving their promised free sample and we can
only apologise if you are not included in our full survey.
There will be a delay before samples are despatched to those selected to take part, as more hardware and software are installed to cope with the increased scale of the survey.
We hope that you will understand our position and if you do not receive a free sample, by way of some small compensation, should you wish to place an order now or in the future, we will upgrade your order by the value of our sample offer.
