Just wanted to know who had what. I have the following:

Star Wars: Starfighters

Madden and SSX... But Zone of Enders is coming, GT3, and drool.... MGS Sons of Liberty...
Only reason I am gettign ZOE is for the MGS Demo of course...

Starfighter is pretty sweet. Great graphics, sound, and control. Fun to play.

I have PS2 but don't own any PS2 games. :( I'm gonna buy midnight club racing today. Is it good though?

what I'm doing is checking IGN.com's editor choices and basing my purchases on it (if you'd notice, most of my games are from that list.) They haven't failed me yet, although timesplitters is not one of my favorites. If you remotely like sports, then madden is a must buy. SSX is too much fun. Dynasty Warriors is terribly cool, but it may get repetitive and short. Sky Oddessy is great, but it's not for everyone. DOA2 is great if you love fighters.

One word of advice, don't even look at dailyradar. They aren't very picky about giving their highest ratings. Almost all the games in the world get a "hit" rating from them.

I rented that one to see if it's good, and it's pretty good. I liked ATV: offroad fury alot better tho. I just ordered that from TWEC today for 39 bucks including 2nd day shiping!

Better than NBA, far worse than Madden...how do they make Madden better in 2002?:confused:

Make it so when you dive on defense, you do more than just fall on the ground. And while their at it, make it so you automatically dive at the guy with the ball (like NFL2K1), and not just in the direction your facing. I always dive wrong and screw up making a tackle.

How about some nice PASS DEFENSE?!?!? My stats at the game are usually like 3 yards allowed on the ground and like 350 yards in the air, EVERY GAME!! It's a bit wrong but still my free safety gets a lot of interceptions...hehehe...

I just bought an used Midnight Club Racing. I have to say RR5 is still the better racing game so far in PS2.

Midnight Club Racing does get better the more you play it. It kind of grows on you, getting the better cars and what have you.

Has anyone else here tried ATV:Off-road Fury yet? I love how the jumping system works, and how you have to get the right "rythm" to maintain speed thru the various jumps.

Actually, just got PS2 last night (sold first one on October 27th for $875 to some idiot!!! haha)

Anyway, my wish list:

Crazy Taxi, which is now rumored to be out in later April

Madden 2001, but might wait until 2002 so Doug Flutie is on Chargers!

18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker!!! Although the early pre-views and hands on reviews say it's way too short and everything else, don't tell me most males won't buy it just to drive a truck!

Gran Turismo 3 of course!

Can you tell that I was thinking of getting a Dreamcast with all the Sega titles on here?

No ps2 game is worth $55 IMO. Luckily my friend works at capcom so he hooks me up. :D
