recovering data on a formatted floppy disk???

my friend just accidentally formatted her floppy disk and there was information on there that she needed... is there any way to recover this data without sending it to a professional and pay lots of money to do so? thanks for any help...

Unless Norton Utilities can fix that, I don't know of any other way.

actually THS, it depends if he did a full format or a quick format. A full format actually goes through the disk and erases everything, a quick format just erases the portion of the disk that has information on what files exist on their. If it was quick formated then there are programs that can recover the lost data, like gwilks98 said NU might help.
