Doesn't really do anything for me, but at least it doesn't look bad.
I am sure it will impress your kids.

I always thought that a "Hairy Potter" was a gorilla who did ceramics. I guess I was wrong...

wow! i'm impressed. i need to hurry up and read the damned books, but i've got such a backlog of books to read after all those amazon gc's from that radio site... jeezus i don't even remember what it was called... harry potter and the lord of the rings coming out within months of each other ... i'll bet dungeons and dragons enjoys a surge of new young players, and the southern baptist coalition is going to have a cow... that'll be amusing. burn the books! burn them all! the devil is afoot!

looks pretty cool. I'm in the middle of the third book right now (the damn things are surprisingly entertaining) after picking up the first one two weeks ago :)

It is casted very well. The legendary John Cleese will be playing Nearly Headless Nick. Even if I wasnt an HP fan, I would have to see this movie

shamefully enough, i've never read lord of the rings, either. i tried to when i was six, but tolkein was a little over my head, and then i didn't pick them up again until high school, and i tried to read the hobbit and found it BORING. i've been told, tho, that i should just skip the hobbit and the other books are much better...
