Digital-Neighbor Gift Certificate Update

I received the following from D-N today explaining the position they are in relative to the GC offer. It sounds to be legitimate but goes to show how people looking to "get over" on others or "stick it to the man" can really ruin it for everybody -- especially the poor putz trying to make a go of it in Cyberspace. (i.e., same people signing-up for 40-50 certificates).

What a load of crap. Either give us the certificates, or deny us them because of fraud, but don't keep stringing us along and try to make us feel sorry for them.

yea i got some stupid email saying the same stuff...i doubt we'll ever see those GC's

Very weird situation...

I started getting their "digital neighbor" emails and they came to an email account I *never* give out. I figured it was just lucky spam. Now I get this news about the GC and I am completely puzzled.

I do get the newletter in my "spam" account as well and must have subscribed, but I wonder how they got my other address.

Has anyone else gotten this and not remembered subscribing?
