View Full Version : Nissan test drive deals

sorry if this has been posted before.
Test drive a 2001 Pathfinder and get a choice of a picnic backpack or a swiss army watch.
Test drive a 2001 Exterra and get a choice of Kelty DayPack or Microtalk 2-way radio.
Don't forget to get the Nissan Dealer to validate and sign your cert and to get a business card, cos you need them to send in for your gifts.
Have fun! :)
I'm getting the picnic thing by the way... and purchased myself a Pathfinder too. :D

Yeah, this is a repost.
But a good reminder for everyone to do this, though. Its one of the easiest ways to get quality stuff for free. I already received my picnic backback, and my Kelty backpack is on its way.

how do these testdrives work? do the sales rep have to sit in the car with the driver? =)

I have done four test drives, and all four times the sales rep said, "I'll sign your paper, if you're really not interested". So basically you end up going there just for a signature. I was out in 5 minutes all 4 times!

do you have to be 21 for this? I remember them having this sort of promotion for the altima or maxima or something before, but required you to be 21 years of age or older. Is this the same story?

Yeah it says this offer is for drivers with a valid license who are 21 or over. But they have never asked for proof yet, plus you don't have to send in any proof, just the salesman's business card. Go for it, I'm sure you'll get away with it.

With the Nissan deals that you also get the salesman's business card. They sent my Swiss Army watch form back, even though it didn't say you had to send one. Fortunately I had one, and got the watch. Nice freebie. The most recent Nissan test drive form I got I recall does say send a business card.

I've found that it's easiest if you tell the salesman up front that you got this test drive offer. If they've seen one before they will usually ask you if you're really interested in the car. (They don't want to waste their time with you if you're not.)
If you've done one at a dealership and you're going back for a different one, go to the same salesman. I've done 3 Nissan deals and I only had to drive the vehicle the 1st time.

yongoro was right. I never would have believed the salesmen would be so accomodating but I just got back from the Nissan dealer and he was pretty cool about it. After asking me whether I was REALLY interested in the vehicle I just told him 'no' and he said no problem 'I'll sign your papers and get you taken care of'. I was stunned. He even laughed and said that was a pretty good deal to get the 2-way radios for very little effort on my part. He seemed a little jealous. Is this country great or what? Mine was for the Xterra test drive.

Damn! Void in MD and HI! I gotta drive all the way to VA or PA to get free stuff! I think Nissan's plotting against me.

Thanks for the info. I got the picnic thing last year for my wife. Now I can get a watch. This watch looks nicer than the model offered last year.

I got the walkie talkies... it was well worth the 1 min. Most dealers will just sign the paper if you tell them you don't have any intention of buying. It's a waste of their time to take you out.

The links tell you that the offer has expired -- Am I just reading it wrong or is it over??
Thanks for the reminder. I got the picnic set and the two way radios. Going back for the watch and backpack.
Just went there. It is over. No more possibilities.
