View Full Version : NSS: Seeing the pretty, shiny lights
Last night, I was comin home at around 2 AM. So I'm crusin down Main St. doin 55. It's a 35. So I see the lights. I pull over and start the whole thing of finding the registration and all that crap.
The cop comes up to the car, asks for my license and reg. I give him the license, and continue to dig for the reg. While I'm looking, he says "Don't worry about it, just slow down." And that was it. No ticket, nothing.
This will be the 6th or 7th time I was pulled over with no ticket (I probably jinxed myself by saying that). I am the luckiest man alive.

maybe you shouldn't push your luck so much?
55 in a 35 at 2AM doesn't seem like pushing my luck to me...

i guess it all depends on where you are.
if you know where the cops hang out, and you still speed. then you are pushing your luck. if i ever drive down the main street (in the town i grew up in) i would be worried about getting at ticket for doing 35 in the 25. especially at 2am.

being pulled over.. ahh, those are the only times i curse myself for having a penis. :(
all i have to do is think about a cop and one will appear behind me with his lights on. it's an amazing knack.

Then maybe you shouldn't worry about cops at all and just floor it.
j/k
The only times I've ever been pulled over is when I let my guard down and speed. I usually get pulled over when I'm driving angry. That's why I try not to drive angry anymore. Altough that's pretty tough, keeping your cool in SoCal while driving can be a trial sometimes. :D

hmm to bad you dont have a cop in your family.
I was pulled over for doing 86 in a 65, pulled out my Detectives Endowment Association card and had it reduced to a seat belt violation :) too bad my friend brain wasnt with me he has a shield and a stack of PBA cards.
BTW 86 in a 65 is a 4 or 6 point violation and $150 easily
