This place has been pretty cool with me.

They have the restaurant and attraction discounts and things seem to work out well. The locations give them free certificates in exchange for advertising and CitySpree then sells them on the cheap (up to 75% off if you are the only bidder -- most auctions last only an hour -- and you buy only from the auction menu on the cheap days).

They recently had some problems with some certificates (lost in mail or processing) but they seem to be very responsive to me.

I just went in and bid for 7 different dining GC's. If even just a few of these go through I would be thrilled!! What an awesome deal! Thanks Gunman, although I've seen other posts about CitySpree, I never really checked them out until I saw your post!

Last time I checked, Cityspree didn't have diddly for Denver. Now it's got a couple dozen restaurants, including a couple I visit anyway. Nobody's bidding, so it's like a 75% off sale with free shipping. Woohoo!

It normally takes about 2 weeks to get the certs (each is mailed separately)

They say 10-14 days so that is a good guide. Sometimes you will get them sooner.

If you want to win the auctions, just go in 5 minutes before they end (they are only 1-2 hours) and you will likely win. If there is another bidder, just hold off and buy next hour. If you start a bidding war, then you will pay too much :-) (even if it is only $5 more)

Like I said, I have bought a bunch of the GCs and there don't seem to be any problems (I haven't redeemed any -- going to this weekend -- but others say there are no problems)

Hey anyone get a membership card yet? Thought we should have got it when we signed up. I've been a member for almost 3 months. I've won 4 GC's and have yet to use them. Guess I see how they make their money, sell GC's to people who have their face glued to their monitors, surfing the net for deals.... Ha Ha Ha. Hey that's ME !!!

$75 GC for $18.75 to a NYC restaurant. That'll cover one plate. Now I'm only on the hook for the other.

I think I will call this "deals for meals." Hey, it beats paying full price.
