Has anyone recieved anything from TWEC.com after ordering with the %25 off coupon code?

I orderd a Dreamcast and two games one day...then decided to order another controller and two VMU's the next day. So, two separate orders really. I got confirmation on both, and order numbers. Its been well over a week (approaching two) since I orderd them and the first order still has the first status on it...like they just recieved my order. The second order moved to 'in-process' the next day...but has been sitting there for a week. The only thing they didnt have in stock was the Dreamcast console itself. I have emailed them a couple times, but havent gotten a response. I got pissed and told them I could understand if they didnt have one item for one of the orders I could see it getting backed up...but the second order...taking 5 days to package it and send it out? Thats pathetic...its also pathetic that they havent responded to not one of my emails.

Places like buy.com and cdw.com are so large and unorganized that I am suprised they can keep thier sites up BUT, they have always gotten my shipments out, and emailed me progress all along the way.

%25 off doesnt seem worth it if it is going to take them 2 weeks to ship it out.

Sorry, had to vent...kinda pissed.

Anyone have any luck with these guys?

It's probably out of stock, maybe that's why it's taking so long. I've ordered about 5 times from them. They ship out stuff pretty quick (if they are in stock), and I usually get them in 3 days. Recently I ordered a N64 game (conker BFD) with that 25% off coupon. I placed an pre-order couple days ago, and I got an email saying it was shipped on 3/7, and I received it this afternoon, pretty quick. The only thing I suggestion is not to order something that's out of stock/backordered..

Also they haven't processed a ton of orders
due to their operations being shut down for
2 days due to the snow storm in NY

I called about an order I had placed over a week
ago, and it was still showing "NEW" on the order
status sheet, when I asked her why my order wasn't
processing she said that my order was flagged for
voice verification because the ship to and credit
card didn't match, which I responded was total
Bull$hit because I've order close to 1k with
them since December and have had no problems, so
I spoke with Ms. Nyce, she apologized and explained
about the backup and refunded my S&H charges (which
I had paid for 2nd day air for my entire order that
has pre-orders throughout March) and today my
1st set of DVDs arrived for March.

I have had pretty good luck with them. I have gotten shipping conf. for most of my orders placed a few days later.

One order from last week actually arrived via Fed Ex.

You can check your order status online as well...

Thanks for the info guys.

Had a busy weekend. Roomate was getting married so I didnt have any time. I checked this morning and *both* orders are in procecessing....whatever the hell that means. I need to call them. Now of course, thier phone number probably comes back as "Trans World Entertainment" and not twec.com. If it was twec.com I would use the state system to make my phone call :)

I will call early in the morning. I think my problem might be the billing/shipping are different... They better be shipping it 2nd day air for free after I talk to them. They need to let people know what is going on. Its easier to get help from UPS then it is twec; and USP is all f*cked up.

I cant get through...its after hours there I guess. Anyone know Jennifer's extension? These guys are starting to piss me off...its like nobody is there to answer the phone or answer emails. Worst customer service I have run across on the web.

Sucks...I've had really good experience with twec.com. I order like 300 dollars of stuff from them over a few months, and got each one when I expected. Just recieved some dvds I ordered no problems.

I have received most of the stuff I have ordered from them. I just had to wait a long, long time for them. I couldn't really complain since it was so cheap, though.
