I have an old 486 Pentium 25 megahurts and I would like to overclock it to one of these new Athlon processors. My computer also has a modem, cd-rom, and a dot matrix printer.

hmm, i think you mean you want to upgrade it.
Overclocking is when you take a CPU (like your 486 25mhz) and run it faster than it was meant to run at (like at 30mhz)

I'm sorry, this might be a little inappropriate, but...

"486 Pentium"?
"25 megahurts"?
"Athlon foot"?

Methinks someone here is having just a wee bit too much fun at our expense.:laugh::laugh:

screw overclocking that 486(pentium?!).

if i was you i'd try to overclock the dot matrix printer.

EDIT: i dont know what kind of door you'd be stopping with a 486...

More like a light paperweight, or a keychain is even better. :)
