Quantum 30Gig HD 7200rpm $99 after MIR at Fry's B&M

I am not sure that this is such a hot deal, kinda warm, but still not bad at all for 30 gig's at 7200 rpm. It is $129 and then a $30 MIR to Quantum making it $99. How do Quantum's hold up? Any good? What is the best brand out there?

quantum makes some decent hard drives, except $129 isnt realyl much of a deal, i think thats just how much they cost.

most people say ibm deskstars are the best ide hard drives.
