They'll actually bill you for the amount if it goes over and you don't use a credit card. I just got a bill in the mail to cover the $2 I went over the GC. I thought that it might get ugly since I actually did place the order, even though they don't give you the total until after the order is placed. So I'm going to pay it, seeing ALL of my orders came through, using the same name and everything. Plus they are going to get about 10 more orders tonight to make up for that $2 bill. I am going to have a wonderful collection of monogrammed wash cloths :)

I got myself a backpack 3 days ago and plug in $15 as the amount and the only method of paying. I didn't put in any creditcard # into my account either. Well... It shows up today... I was... er... NICE... DUMB dot.com company... I go on my computer and put in a ugly polo shirt, plug in the code, check out, done... Wow... It works! I then order 2 watches for my girl and myself. This is just wonderful. Just as I am happily going out for dinner, somehow I check my mailbox. Wow... Eddie Bauer!!! A bill?! What the... All they got is my address, and maybe my telephone #... Maybe it is their way to try to get back with their lost with lousy computer server. What do you guys think? Should I pay, I mean by a human perspective. I will be really shocked if my watches go through. I dun wanna pay a dime for these, since I have plenty of myself... :(
