I dont know about you, but these guys should be booted! Look at the guy from friends, Matt Perry. This guy was a total drug addict, now he's in rehab, and I am sure he'll rejoin the crew when he gets out. It's like these guys are untouchable!

What exactly is he getting away with?

He wasn't caught by cops buying/possessing drugs, and as far as I know, he didn't kill/rob anyone to buy drugs...?

He's getting away with his reputation. Any normal person would be kinda screwed if they did such a thing, for a celebrity its just more publicity and support.

its a bunch of crap man. People is our country just play stupid to things like this. I mean really, this guy is a dirtbag. Most of these hollywood actors are dirtbags. They dont know how to handle themselves after making all that cash. These are the type of people our kids look up to, which kinda explains our violent kids of late...

Ease up there Ace!
I am willing to bet Matt Perry had a drug problem way
before he was a big star.
I am not one to elevate celebrities to some god like status
that many people do. After all they just read lines that some one else writes for them, but they are still human.
People don't get fired for being on drugs or even Drunk in the real world so why should celebs if they seek treatment.
To reiterate a point made earlier , he did not hurt anyone but himself. There are millions of people who work and have
drug or alcohol problems. They just don't admit it for fear that people will alienate them and thus they never get help and put you me and the rest of the public in danger.
People just tend to get pissed because of the recognition and big paychecks that celebs get.

Your point about Perry and company harming only themselves could easily fill a thread with discussion.
Whats being looked at here is how some well known individuals are treated with golden gloves while some poor dude is going to have his ass be freshmeat for big Leroy in the joint. And no Leroy don't like lube either. :Q

heh it seems like some stars admit a substance abuse problem to seek publicity and gather sympathy. Its almost tearjerking how they are bravely coping with their problems and seeking help by going to the Betty Ford clinic to clean up. :bawl: ;)

Punishment is definitely not doled out on an even scale . Celebs win everytime.I was too busy being the crusader for addicts to see that.Plus anyway,I think Ace was really thinking about Robert Downey Jr.when he started this post.
