What's wrong with you? Their music kicks ass! They might not be the brightest, but their music still rocks.

Hi My name is george and im a recovering metillcaholic
as ihave now distanced myself fromthem for years i have come to realise that with few exceptions everything metallica has put out has been crap.
first off there is lars
lars I used to think was an exceptional drummer.....that is until i realised that he only knows one beat
(dont belive me? why dont you pay attention and you will see it for yourself)
... you think he has double bass skills? check out Slipknot.. you think he bangs hard...check out pantera...you wanna hear odd rhythms...check out fear factory or tool
next is kirk hammet
hes a very learned guitarist but does nothing unusual...nothing creative and anything he can do, dimebag darrell can do better and he can do it while chugging beer and lighting his farts on fire... you wanna hear creative check out tom morello. yout hink he plays fast..check out anything black metal
next is jason "one note" newstead try and find the bass anywhere on the jsutice album...then on black you will hear bass and its super basic nothing to it jsut one note backings. wann hear some serious bass check out les claypool-primus or if you relly wanna hear good bass check out victor wooten
on that note there is james hetfield.....
he is a very functional onotone singer.....but read his lyrics... harvester of sorrow.... of wolf and man....for whom the bell tolls..... lepper messiah....check out those lyrics
Can you smell the cheese people? can you
ok now bring on the hate mail

now there are a few positives i must add..they did change the course of music and that is good and we would not have been exposed to alot of other good music if not for them..but i gotta say that that doesnt make their stuff good
riffs are catchy though i must admit
still im gonna go with the orriginal they suck comment

does listening to the TV count? If so, I'm "listening" to The Patriot. actually, kindof half-watching as I cruise the forums.
