general question about all burners

I am going to get a 8x4x32x iomega burner. I was wondering, can this burner do everything that other burners do? for instance i want to burn games, music, and movies. Will I be able to do that with any burner I get? Also was wondering how hard is it to mess up when burning? I have heard of burnproof that helps you not mess up the burning but what if my burner doesn't have burnproof? How do I keep from getting bad burning? thanks for the help.

Yes that burner can burn games, music, and movies. And you can do that with all burners. Messing up a cd isn't too hard, if you put a heavy load on your computer when making the cd the chance you'll screw it up increases. It doesn't happen very often though. Just make sure that when your burning that no other programs are running.
