back from vacation

well, folks, i just got back today from hawaii. went to oahu. spent the week in waikiki. it was great! i missed the forums....but i actually did something for once.

anyhow, good to be back

Damn your lucky :) hope you had lotsa fun. I went to Hawaii for the first time last summer, it was awesome. I was only on the big island so i didn't get to see all of it, but man you step off the plane and its paradise, the whole island has the fragrance of flowers.

i miss it soooo much! i got a room for like $300/night. it was right on the beach. left the "lanai door" open every night. slept listening to the waves. we could even rent movies still in theaters right from our room! we went snorkeling, swimming, had an island tour....had a blast! i am gonna go back asap

Dont tell me you didn't scuba!!!! I went off the shore of hilo (actually a tad north) twice, It was the coolest thing ever!!!!!! Next time you go, you have to try it. Ohh and before you go, get certified so you dont have to pay more and have to go with a guide (if your certified you can pretty much do whatever you want)
I could see the beach out the balcony on the right side from my room. The air was pretty warm durring the summer so I kept the window shut with the air conditioner on but there were a bunch of trees across the room and ever morning i would wake up to the chirps. Amazing place!

the princess :amidala: doesn't wanna scuba. so snorkeling sufficed. but got many, many pics. the weather was nice....had the lanai door open and birds came INTO the room. it was cute! but having the room right over the ocean was a blast. if anyone wants to give me a good reference to a job there, i will be happy to move ;) . i wonder if they have cable modem?
