hiding speaker cables

hey all

i'm moving to a new place (kickass loft!) and i'm looking for a good, tasteful way of hiding my speaker cables. i have satellite speakers mounted on the wall right now, with those cheesy speaker hiding plastic strips that i bought from the hardware store hiding the speaker cables...

any recommendations or experience in hiding speaker cables well?

If the place is carpeted you can rip out the corners and hide it along the wall and reapply the carpet.
