I needed a place to vent and this is going to be it. I got my girlfriend a Startec cell phone for Christmas last. Nw she is headed down to from NYC to Virgina. God it will be nice to see some grass once in a while. We call MCI to chage the service and phone number. I will tell you that I have spent close to 5 hours on hold trying to get through to them. I am not BSing either. We called at 8:30 last night and they shut off there custoemr service at 10:00. I fianlly called a sales guy I know who works for them and they sold us that the MCI phone that we have in NYC does work the same was as the MCI phone in Virginia..What kind of bull$HIT is that. Now we have a new Startec phone that we can do nothing with. Are you kidding me. They said for another 150.00 we can get the same phone in Va. Whatever. I won't even get started on there local and long distance. Anyway, if you ever consider doing business with them. DON'T They are with out a doubt the worst phone company and service that I have ever had the pleasure of having to so business with.

I feel much better. yeah right. Anyway, anyone who lives in the NYC area and wants and MCI Startac phone cheap. Let me know.

Oh yeah. i tried sendig them an email and I stated don't tell me to call your CS because no one ever answers. And they send me the generic email stating that if you have any questions feel free to call there CS. :angry:

MCI does suck. I just got off the phone with their CS department. They are charging me for long distance even though they are not my long distance carrier. The first idiot, I mean CS rep told me they were still my carrier and I needed to have my actual carrier switch me back. I called my actual carrier, and lo and behold, they agree with me that they are my actually carrier. The second rep I talked to at MCI was even stupider, told me he didn't see my cancellation order at all. Never heard of the other people I had spoken too, and that I owed lots of money to them. I DON'T THINK SO!

I drafted up a nice letter to explaining my feelings and how I would like to kick their butts. I don't really care tho, I'm just not pay the stupid stupid bill.
