USSR's last laugh: MIR!!!

i have TWO theories on the cold war.....

the first one: AIDS!
I did a small research project on AIDS in high school.. this is what I came up with.. there were MANY outbreaks in Africa in the 1960's. the World Health Organization (WHO?) sent out many scientists to africa to send in specimens to find the ground zero animal for the outbreak.. and make a antidote.. this was done for marburg, and a shitload of other outbreaks that were pretty disgusting to read about (The coming Plague..roughly 700 pages of pure viral bliss!)

so... in the 70's, genetic engineering was begun... basically.. they did small scale projects... but.. it WAS the birth of that science......

so.... here is my theory.... the US never really had a SURE win over USSR, until the damn thing collapsed... right..
no one knew EXACTLY how many ICBMs and ABMs the other had.. there were MANY bluffs.. and MANY secrets... so... we get a BUNCH of animals from the 60's being studied for viruses...

some guy at the pentagon thinks *hmm maybe we can use some virus that has a LONG-TERM effect just in cse USSR comes out on top*

so... there are 3 strains of AIDS reported... the SECOND strain is the most common one detected by normal blood tests.. the THIRD strain is a mutated one that needs mor ein depth blood studies to get detected.. the FIRST strain is the original.. 14 people in australia were able to succesfully recover and DEFEAT that strain....... I got this info from a scientific journal about 5 years ago....

so... we get into Chem warfare... they make a new virus... and they want to test it... what better group of people than FAGS.. they are useless and immoral *gov't mentality*
so... you get an outbreak of AIDS in San Fransisco... in 1981... they TRY and FAIL to link it back to africa (THe coming plague) ... so it ORIGINATES from a turkish bath were gays, homos, whatever they prefer to be called nowadays (i'm not PC ..sorry.. and i don't care to be either...)

and there you have AIDS... chem warfare gone awry.. and if you think that is IMPOSSIBLE... may i remind you of AGENT ORANGE vietnam.... cocaine being dealt to poor black communities in the 80's to make money for the CIA to fund the contras... etc etc etc

SO... then Ragean senile dumbshit ass (who is the GREATEST person alive.. able to double our debt in 8 years.. what took us 200 years to make! he doubled in 8 !! thats a GREAT MAN! he doesn't jsut FUCK up.. he ROYALLY fucks EVERYONE!) comes to office..... and...... we get Star wars project...

and here is where MIR comes in.... it's been 15 years.. roughly started in 1986.... this is the ULTIMATE thing.. hehhe.. think about it!
USSR is facing bankruptcy... they are cutting down missles and eveyrone is HUNGRY in russia.. right? so.. they go for a 'doomsday' device......
the MIR space station... goes up in orbit.. and if the russians lose the cold war.. they get the last laugh!! hehehe

when the station comes down.. it will fly over MAJOR cities around the world... imagine there is some psycho russian out there.. with controls to let certain parts of the station fall at a certain point!! then they hit a MAJORITY of all the major cities in the world!

the USSR is GONE.. but they have the last laugh!!

Sorry, stupidzbu, but this one is a little too far-fetched.

AIDS has been pretty well demonstrated to have originated in Africa, (all up and down the Kinshasa Highway) and it doesn't take a conspiracy to move it around the world, just some plane tickets. Hell, Europe can't even control foot and mouth disease. How hard could it be for an untrackable (for a while) STD to spread? Piece of cake. One person, one plane ticket, new continent.

And I kinda doubt MIR is the last Russian superweapon, ready to reign terror on major cities. It's probably not packing a weapon, since US astronauts have spent a great deal of time on MIR, which the Russians wouldn't have allowed if they were hiding something. And MIR isn't big enough by itself to do anything more than kill a few hundred people, even if it hit in a major city. Hardly worth the backlash Russia would receive from having it happen.

Conspiracy theories are complicated and fun... but really, what it comes down to most of the time is that the simplest explanation is probably the correct one.
