Opinions on site

Well, this is the first time I've seriously tried to make a website and I just wanted to get opinions on the layout, etc...

Even though most of the content is missing, the only major thing not currently on there is the picture of the mascot. Which will be in the upper left corner as usual.

I welcome all criticisms and suggestions.

And no this is not an assignment for a class, I took basic HTML a few years ago.

Not too bad. Just don't add like a hundred animated gifs to like most people do when they create their first website. I like the colors, kind of soothing, and you didn't go overboard with your newly aquired skillz. Let us know when it is completely up!

dont worry about that, there will be no animated gifs (except for maybe the mascot) and no music in the background

note: the mascot is going to be a squid, Sammy the S&M Squid to be exact. He's the Mascot of the Computer Sci Lab in Fredonia. (DONT ASK!!! Its a long story)
