Two membership cards to 24 Hour Fitness (but no membership) - What to do?

A "friend" of mine, let's call him "the person with gun who works alone", was involved in a situation where he had to apply for membership at 24 hour fitness and then cancel the next day.

Well, everything worked out and all monies were refunded, but suddenly membership cards started appearing.

Being not criminal minded, he did not know what to do with them (if they were scanned, likely they would show the membership expired, but just looking at them, they look completely valid). Any suggestions?

just hand them back to 24 Hour Fitness, is it really worth the trouble/risk? Then again they can't do much if they do catch you (i think)

I was looking for something a bit more creative.

I mean I could auction them off on ebay as souvenirs if they ever go out of business.

I just hoped maybe someone worked there and had some ideas or some use for them (ex. my "friend" could throw them in the trash, but then the trashman could decide that he really wanted to be a postman and mail them to someone who could use them... stranger things have happened!)
