whatever it is.. it can NOT be any harder than the physical chemistry final I took on wed!!!
12 questions each with a-d worth 200 points.. a 50 point extra credit problem which required HEAVY DUTY calc skills... all in 2 hours!
we had to derive expressions using quantum, partial derivatives, and linear algebra using the ensemble energy to prove that pressure and heat capacity are independant of a zero energy... by taking the partial derivative of the natural log of the partition constant over temperature!
and that was only worth 30 points!!!
talk about HARD! i STILL don't even understand most of what i wrote! hehehehe
but tomorrow i have a cell bio exam (still studying!) ... and then i'm DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
GGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd
LLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!
lets all kick our final's ASSES!!
I already got an A-.. maybe even an A .. in my ecology/genetics class.... !! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
time for some  and some -making!

I had system and signal from 8 to 11 and numerical computing from 3 to 6. Consider both of my prof are rated extremely hard (8 out of 10), and don't know how to teach (3 out of 10). I could only wish they curve a lot!
In midterm, nobody pass and he wasn't giving any curve! That is crazy!
Anyhow, I'm glad all these are over. I will enjoy my spring break.

In reality, soon after College, no one cares about grades.
One company I was talking with asked for my GPA (I am many years out of school) and I told them to shove it (their stock crashed a few days later -- not because they didn't hire me, but that would have been cool).
It was one of the ONLY times I have ever been asked about grades.
So much for those people that got 4.0's
Also, when I am hiring, I don't really ask GPA either.
Good luck on the tests though...

Thats what i keep telling people. If this is the last place your going to school and dont have plans on continuing, why the hell are you so worried about getting perfect grades? I mean its nice to get good grades but in the long run who cares? as long as you can get your job your set.

That may be true, but I'm sure they would care if you flunked out of college.
anyhow, my test was freaking hard, but i think i did alright.

depends on what you want to do... medical/dental/blah blah blah.. and graduates schools... they care.. thats about it...
once i am in dental school... grades will be meaningless... it's not like i would make more money with an A than a B.....
I... FAILED my physical chem final .... it was TOUGH as SHIT.. god damn.. never failed a final before....
either way.. my grade was so high going in.. that I ended up with a B- in the class... it counted for 40% of my total score..
the teacher was an ******* though...
either way.. got wasted and partied in a FOAM party last night...
so i could care less about that grade now......

What is even worse is that WHAT you did in school generally doesn't even matter. For example, if you have an MBA from a top school, it counts for something. On the other hand, if you have one from an average school, it counts the same as one from a diploma mill. I know this first hand since I have the latter.
When your hardest class is one where for the final you just have to spell "bidness skool" you know it is a mill. It also cost about the same amount as a pizza and a couple of beers.
Compare this to an average school where you struggle for 2-3 years and pay enough for a couple of nice cars.
In the end, both people get the exact same job and benefits. Now, who is smarter about business :)
