17" Monitor Needed

I just sold my 19" Sony E400 and am looking to buy some kind of 17" monitor. I want to spend appx. $200 (more or less is fine) but wind up with a nice monitor, flat screen (shadow mask or aperture grill), max res. isn't an issue since the laptop I'm hooking it to only goes upto 1024x768.

I've seen some nice NEC and Samsung displays but I'm wondering if anyone knows of someting really well prices.

Also pricewatch.com can hook you up with some good dealers (try to get one that is in a state that doesn't charge sales tax on your order).

I would recommend the Sony E200 series (i think they;re on E210 now) and the Viewsonic E70 (which is in your price and spec range) The Sony is a great monitor (i have it and i love it) but you might not need that kind of resolution, so I'd say go for the Viewsonic or maybe even a KDS.
