I got the game, No One Lives Forever. It is awsome, but after the second mission it locks on me each and everytime I try to play it. Most times I have to reboot, but sometimes I can get lucky and hit 'ctrl, alt, delete and pull up that box. There it says the game has quite responding.

I run Win98 and havea 500 mhz PIII. I have a Vodoo3 3000 card. I think there's 64 megs of ram, don't know anything about that stuff really. I followed the two small bits of advice on their support forum. Didn't help. I easily meet their requirments. . . . .

I also uninstalled it, and reinstalled it. I applied all the patches they have for it as well.

THe game is sweet as hell, but it's too frustrating to try anymore. Any suggestions at all?

Thanks if you take the time to respond.-=

Get more RAM. It's so cheap, it can't hurt. Some games are ram hogs, especially if you've got a lot of stuff in your systray.

Get the latest drivers for the video card, BIOS and Motherboard chipset.

Even if that doesn't work, your system will be very much happier.

Is the game freezing or crashing? Does it give you any errors? Does it "lock up" at the same point in the game?

Check the companies website for any patches...
