Cable Modem: 3Com or Motorola?

I'm going to sign up for @Home service next week and am trying to decide between the 3Com or the Motorola cable modems off of the approved modems list. What are your experiences with either one? Should I avoid one or the other?

I had the Motorola modem when I was with them. It worked fine. I don't know any disadvantages between either.

I don't know about @home, but RoadRunner used the Motorola modems for a while and stopped using them because they just had lots of problems. They been replaced with Toshiba ones. If I had a choice, i'd go with 3Com.
