I tried to pre-order a Palm m505 yesterday and use the amzntenprcnt code to save me some cash. First attempt was rejected because I had already used the code once.

Being the cheap guy that I am, I signed up for a new Amazon account so I could use the ten percent discount. Bingo! The order went through, discount and all.

2 hours later, I get a new email saying they canceled my order as the 10% discount is only intended to be applied towards purchases of $100 or less.

So, if you're planning on using the 10% discount on anything, think twice on what you are buying.

Or, did I just get screwed by Amazon?

it sux that you couldn't use the code. but....how could you have gotten screwed on something that you didn't buy?

We've gotten conflicting reports. Try calling up Customer Service. One of our readers called in their order of over $1,000 and got the 10% off.
