Right now until 4/5/01 Dell is offering double RAM for free on any laptop purchse PLUS $100 off. If you're in the market for a laptop, this is great deal considering DELL makes great notebooks (and notebook RAM is just too damn expensive).

I just read it again and it's not just for laptops, but ANY (desktop or laptop) small business computer purchase.

Not too big of a deal unless you're buying a P4.... Then be sure to get 256 + FREE 256MB. Remember, that's RAMBUS memory... sweet.

This is a good deal.

Bought an Inspiron 4000 about 3 weeks ago when they also were running the double ram/$100 off special.

Laptop has been great and I still cant find a better deal than the one I got! (and thats hard to say about computer stuff)

Go for the Dell!

Nah dude those deals can be beat, i know this store they usually have a lot of stuff in stock, plus it's all new still in boxes and stuff.. it's called "straight off the back of the truck and the prices are usually 75% off"

Hey gr8fuljack,

I'm thinking about getting this notebook for college next year, especially with the nice deal they're running right now. You said the laptop's great, which is what I got from looking at the website so far, but do you have any complaints - anything at all? I was just curious, because I have a PII desktop from them that I love, but I wanted to make sure everything was great with their laptops too.
