I don't know if any of you have heard, but due to the cost of maintaining this site, Apex will be shutting it down. Servers will be turned off on 4/7 @ Midnight.

I'm sorry folks. I was hoping this wouldn't happen. I was going to announce it in the news and deals page, but apparently, someone talked to Leon and leaked it here in the forums. I'll give everyone more of an update as it comes. Unfortunately, this year has totally sucked. Ad revenues have dropped like a rock and we use over 140GB of traffic a month. I kid you not, that much traffic is really expensive.

It's been a great year and a half. Best wishes to all of you.

How much would it take to keep this site rolling? I know a lot of the members here don't have very much money. But GOTAPEX is the best!! I don't want to see the old timers leave. The money we've saved has been substantial from the DEALS postings and forums, plus the funny and sometimes not-too-funny comments generally make my day. There are a lot of creative, quick witted people who visit here and I really don't want to see them go.
