My friend overclocked his CD-R making it think that it was a 12x instead of a 10x...ask me how he did it...I don't know! But I'll find out for you guys if you peoples want to know.
ive heard of this too. what kind of cdr drive is it? i think there was another thread on this topic, but i know i read an article about this at http://www.cdrinfo.com.

I forgot...but I do know that he used the program nero to overclock it.

no no no little bro......this is how he did it guys
He has a Ricoh 4x drive and he updated the firmware with another cd-r's firmware and made windows and the drive think that it was a 6x cd-r. That's how he did it.
