Handspring Visor Deluxe is $249.98 at Staples + $50 Mail in Rebate. Use 91320 for a $40 off $200 and get it for less than $160 + taxes.

Wish I had waited for this one.

You can also try what I did, get it from staples for
249.98 -
50.00 -
30.00 - (30 of 150 coupon)
50.00 - (Target Pricematch)
---------
119.98

That was my total about a week and a half ago.

This was posted a while ago, don't have a link to the post but you can do a search and find it pretty easily. Target was carrying the Visor Deluxe for $199.00 if you called staples they would PM whatever target you directed them to as long as it was in stock at the 199.00 price.

FYI
I just talked to Handpring Rebate Rep.
She told me that if the purchase price of Visor Deluxe's less than $249, the rebate'll be rejected and was confirmed by her supervisor.
so.. for those got their visor deluxe from Target ,$199 before rebate, will not get their rebate check even their is no such a condition about purchase price on rebate coupon.
dont know about staples deal (pricematch with Target) will be honored or not because their sale slip list $249 as purchase price but with $40 coupon, total price came down to less than $249. I'm the one in this case and just hope I'll get my rebate check so soon.

I bought from Target also. If they won't take the rebate here is what I am going to do:

1. Buy a new Visor from Staples using the $40 off coupon (after seeing if using the coupon is ok)
2. Return that new Visor to Target and get my money back
3. Send in the rebate
4. I will then get Staples to do a price match after I have gotten copies of everything for the rebate and sent it in

I will still get a good deal. I'm just glad I haven't sent in my rebate form yet.

hey chadlnc,
what's the final price of you Visor after you do this??

I bought one today for the following

$249 (Reg PRice at Staples)
-$49 ( Price Match of Target)
-$40 (rebate for purchases over $200_
____
$160
-$50 ( Visor rebate..will this be honored????)
_____
$110

Now, I called handspring today and i couldnt get a strait answer. One person told me that it wouldnt be honored. Then i talked to someone else that thought that it didnt matter what Target charged and that the rebate should be honored. Im reluctant to use my visor until someone finds a way around this problem.

$110 is what I come up with also. I wasn't able to get ahold of a human at Handspring today. I don't see any reason why they shouldn't honor the rebate. It is a store sale and has nothing to do with them. I'm not sure if the Staples thing will work or not, it will show as being 199.99 instead of 249. I would price match after the fact, but then I'm not sure if Staples will do that seeing as though I would have used a coupon. I have read the terms and conditions multiple times now and I still can't see what grounds they have to stand on.

Has anyone tried this...tell me if it will work.

Buy the visor at Staples for $199, with the target price match. Then take $40 off with their coupon.

Next buy a visor at any store for $249, get a duplicate recipt. return this one later. Use the duplicate recipt with the UPC from the one bought at Staples. When the $50 check comes the total price will be $110 + taxes.

Is this gonna work???????

I thought about doing that. Not too sure about the legality, if that matters to anyone. If they aren't going to honor the price from Staples or Target it seems fair to me!

Techbargains.com says that if they denied your rebate because you purchased it under $249 to call Dionna at 1-888-522-6647. There was supposedly an error. I tried calling and got the automated system. Let me know if any of you have better luck.

chadlnc, when you call them and got that automated system, just press "0" and it'll direct your call to Rebate Representative.
I'm so happy, she told me my rebate is VALID! yeah! (Staples pricematch w/ Target)

Just tried to order this, and the coupon expired. Don't think there are any more of the $40 off $200 around, but you can get a $30 off $150.

But still how do you do price match? Do you just contact Staples and show them the link? THanks for help!

Has anyone received their rebates yet? Mine was Due earlier this week. I just called their 1-800 # and was told it was "in Process" and to give them a couple more weeks and call back. Before I spoke with the live person though I listened to the automated system and it said it was Received MAY 1ST, (Acutal date I mailed it was way back in March!

Thanks,
Megan
