i just got this email:

which makes me wonder: how many are in a case? they make it sound rather ominous, like i will be digging a path thru all the pop-tarts to my front door for the next few months... it's probably just like a sam's club size, four regular boxes or something.

Remember the winter of 99' with the whole iwin.com scandal where people could get free points by just going to a secret url? (This was before iwin switched to prize raffles) I ended up getting 4 free Dreamcast games and 2 mini tvs with built in vcrs :D

Also, in late 99', my dad ordered internet cable service from @home. He told them we didn't have a cable input in our house but they came anyways without installing a cable line. The dude says, "You don't have a cable line. I'll call up TCI and have them set up an installation date."

When TCI comes, they go, "We can't install a line because of the varying distance of *blah blah something something*"
So, he tells @home that we can't use the service and they tell my dad to return the cable modem and software.

My dad never returns the modem nor does @home ask us about it ever again. I ebayed the modem in summer 00' for $160 :)

We also got a free $75 overstock.com GC for "subscribing" to @home's service. I got a free scanner with that.

And like in the summer of 00' I registered at http://www.prizegames.com and won their RIO 500 Giveaway. Then I ebayed that shiznit for 180 bucks.

i've never tried smores, but the bsc is my favorite all the way. why bother with artificial fruit flavor when you can just cram that puppy full of pure sugar?!?!

the only other thing i've won was a friggin lifestyles condom t-shirt - it says "COVER GIRLS LIKE COVERED BOYS" in black with a red lip-smack instead of an "o" in "cover". it is so screamingly awful that i can't wear it, not even to bed, and i'm even the kind of person who will wear all the stupid .com t-shirts - out of the house.
