i used to love kahlua cookies in cream from dave and andys- a yummy yummy ice cream shop in pittsburgh. i must say thats probably one of the places i miss the most from college. they have some of the best ice cream i've ever tasted. and they had really random flavors that rotated.

yesterday i had my first soft serve of the season and boy was it good. yay for spring so stores will start opening up again!

As far as ice cream goes, I dont eat much so i can't really say i have a favorite.

I used to go to an icecream place called DUNKS that made these fabulous 'boston shakes'..they were carmel topping on the bottom,then vanilla shake,then a layer of blueberry icecream,then more shake then more carmel...mmmmmmmmmm they were sooooooooo good..*smacks lips* the trick was pulling the straw up through the drink while you were slurping it so you would get a taste of each.
For my simple favorite-Rum Raisin Haagen Das from the Haagen Das shop in midtown manhattan..mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Despite all the millions of crazy Ice cream flavors out there, I still think the best is just plain old vanilla. Not just any vanilla though...some vanillas suck. Haagen Daaz vanilla is one of those really good ones.

Tillamook brand Carmel Butter Pecan or Chocolate Peanutbutter! I also recently got my hands on some Ben & Jerry's "Everything but the..." that's pretty good too. The absolute worst flavor is chocolate chip mint... YUCK!

when I was studying in Australia.. I had this really good ice cream.. chocolate chilli ... it's chocolaty but when it went down it was a little spicy.... YUM!

See thats where you went wrong, not only did you waste time and effort trying to make that ice cream. Just get the guinness and pour it over ice cream.
