Has anyone succesfully purchased and received their rebate from cyberrebates.com? Been looking at that site for a while now and been thinking the people at cyber rebates never actually give your rebates? I mean if you did get things for free on there why doesn't everybody just buy everything in stock and eventually get a huge rebate check? it just doesn't make sense. I could get a CD-RW for free after a $1000 rebate? ya right. they probably never send the rebate or say they went out of business.

I've ordered over $12,000 worth of stuff from them. Except for a few I sent in about 7 weeks ago, I've received every rebate in the timeframe they promise.
The only risk is that they might go bankrupt while you have rebates in process. Don't spend more than you can afford to lose.

I got some stuff from cyberrebate.. such as my alarm clock in front of me, my multi purpose flashlight, surge protector, massage pen, laser, and other miscellaneous stuff... and i received all the rebates for it, but it did take about 3-4 months though.

Search the posts by a user named "LostBoy". He works for a law firm that represents people that are suing CyberRebates. He seems most articulate on the subject.
In response to the direct question, Yes, I did purchase from them on one occasion and after much complaining and hand wringing (including intervention from the great Apex), I received 100% of my refunds. Would I do it again? NOPE. Not worth the risk or the hassle.

I got about $150 of stuff about a year ago. Got $150 back in rebates after about 4 1/2 months. There is quite a bit of paper work involved and if you mess up they make it dificult to get your rebate.
I supose it might be worth it if you have nothing beter to do with your money for 5 months and you have some spare time on your hands...

I was hesitant to order from them two but finally broke down. So far no problems in receiving refunds. I've got about 4 orders waiting for rebates now. The last two for DVD's (at 1000% markup).
I wouldn't risk shelling out that much cash. Everything is overpriced. The only time I bought something from them was that porcelain clock, but thats cuz there was a pricing error on that.
