It was merely a suggestion, you did not need to actually do it.
If you did ask your mom and she got mad, that's no reason to get mad at me.
And about the taste, other people who have asked their moms have told me that they did not like the taste.

I could almost imagine you there at the keyboard, gritting your teeth,
