man, I see to have a couple non-admirers out there, I was just wondering how many people who have read my posts think I am a jerk. I mean, I don't think I'm a jerk. I try to give people a chance and acess them fairly. Maybe sometimes I am wrong?
Check this out though;
Today, I had to go to court for a ticket. While waiting for the judge to get there an old man, about 48 I would guess, sits down next to me. He begins to ask me questions about why I am there andthen proceeds to tell me EVERYTHINHG about himself. I know why he was there, I know he has a daughter who goes to school and on what street the school is on. He tells me about the business he owns but which has no employees, no office, and he has no business card. It is an "internet company" he tells me. "We just signed a contract for 7 and a quarter million dollars". And of course, they have no web address. For an hour I listen all about everything and nothing at the same time. The point being, I could have walked away, I could have ignored him until he left, I could have told him to sut up but I didn't. I listened to him and asked him questions because I think it would have been rude and totally uncalled for, if I did anything else; he is a nice guy who wanted someone to talk to and I was there so I became that someone for him.
I don't know about you but I think that is something a nice guy would do; to treat someone well, unless they give you reason not to.
In summary, if I am a dic* please let me know so that I may try to be dic*less. -haha? get it? But seriously, what do you guys think?
