Awesome deal, I did this a while back when it was first posted, glad to see the target price dropped again, this is a hundred times better than the palm IIIxe mainly for all the attachments the visor offers, I got the MP3 player for it with 32mb of ram for less than $80. It' awesome.

Threeclaws, how did you get the MP3 so cheap?

I got it from somebody on classifieds2000 but, somebody posted a place that had them for $129 a while back which is still a great deal. All I'm waiting for now is to get the cell phone attachment and I won't have top carry anything but my visor when I go out.

I've been using the Palm IIIxe and I'm pretty happy with it. And if you think $80 for a 32mb mp3 player is good, I don't think you've been on this board long enough. I remember getting the I-Jam for pretty cheap something like $30 with 2 16mb flash cards. And I think I saw a deal somewhere for around $80 for a decent mp3 cd player.

springboard modules are hecka expensive!... i think 80 bucks is a great deal

I'm waitin on the cell phone expansions to drop in price. I was lookin em up the other day, said about 200something dollars, and then you read the fine print and it's only 200something when u sign up for the service too. I already have a cingular cell phone, so I clicked on the link that said "if you already have service", checked that out... 500 dollars or so... omg

I hope this board'll be the first to let me know when these prices come down.

I'm not sure if it is correct, but someone in a thread further down said that Handspring was not going to honor the rebate if you got the visor from Target at $199. If this is true they will probably not honor the pricematched item from Satples. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't except it, I have read the terms and conditions and nothing makes any mention of not honoring it if you get it for less than $249.
