View Full Version : Why do people care so much about the number of posts they have?

I think this site is supposed to be about having fun not trying to get the most amount of posts you can get; what's fun about that? You could have one post or you could have a million posts, who cares? Apparently some people care a lot. I don't get it. Do we get something for having a lot of posts and nobody told me? Did I miss the meeting?

Whoa! That's deep dude...

Yeah well anyway...

Some people just like to know how many posts they have made. I don't think it's that big of a deal one way or another. I like to see how many post I've made but I'm not out to do more than anyone else or anything. I just like to see the number.
But Some folk out there REALLY want to have the highest number. It's all part of being human and feeling the need to out do everyone in some way. It's all good fun either way!

Yeah, you do talk too much! All you do is talk, I mean come on! Don't you or any of us have anything better to do than sit at work or at home typing out these stupid messages. Sheesh! I use to be an AOL junkie. Hiting the chat rooms and instant messaging everyone around the country all the time. But that's just the way we are sometimes. Needing to reach out and talk to people who don't know you just to talk for a little bit. Doesn't have to be about anyting you can just babble on about nothing and they will still talk to you just because you took the time type out a message. Or they are just lonely and have no one to talk to and life sucks but they find a reason to go on living thanks to the good folks out on the internet. And what the heck is going on with the internet these days? Web sites closing down left and right do to loss of money. Heck two of my favorte sites E-Toys and Hasbro Collector just closed down and it's getting harder to find the really cool action figures that people are looking for these days. You know action figures is a tough business to get into. Finding the rare ones at a good price is harder than rocks man! Jees man! All those frickin collectors that get the part time jobs at the toys stores so they can buy out the cases before a normal joe like me can even see them on the shelves. But sometimes I have to wonder about the kids. Is anyone looking out for the kids. I got kids but is anyone look out for they're kids? Some times I wonder....

Okay so I talk too much too! BIG FAT HAIRY DEAL!
