THE SWELLING went down-and guess what..that piece of what I thought was part of the tooth-nope-its part of my jaw. OUCH..with a sharp point. I had to go back and have the dentist SNIP THE point off so it would stopping ripping the crap out of my tongue. then lo and behold-after I ask him why the hell my mouth/ear/jaw/head hurts so bad he tells me-OH-YOU HAVE A DRY SOCKET. *OH JOY*......so he packs the area with some nasty tasting shit and sends me on my way for 3 days-until it festers and has to be pulled out-or until it falls out on its own. SUCKAGE.

I feel your pain! I had to go through that 2 years ago. That is some MAJOR suckage! Hell every time I go to the Devil...I mean Dentist, he always finds something to pull or drill. Nothing like going through life only being alowed to eat through a straw! It don't matter how much you brush ro floss, they will find SOMETHING to do to you.

Well AP, the only thing is-this whole incident could have been avoided had my sucky dentist taken care of the tooth properly to begin with. Instead of filling and filling and refilling the same tooth over and over (each time the filling came out, more tooth came with it)and instead put a crown or a cap on it-this never would have happened. Since I'm a night-grinder they gave me some silly little mouth guard thinking these powerful clackers of mine would be safe from anymore wear away-but I ground through that as well. Just because they have those medical degrees they think they know everything. I told her that it would NOT be enough to keep that tooth from shattering but they never listen to the patients do they? After all-it IS about the money right? Now my novacaine AND my vicodan is wearing off and I am feeling the effects of the bone being snipped-and OMG its worse than being in labor for 36 and a half hours.
