Does anyone know where you can buy FrontPage 2000 for the cheapest? And if you do, do you know of any coupons for it?

I know this sounds kind of obvious, but have you already went to the price search sites like www.bottomdollar.com (http://www.bottomdollar.com) or http://shopper.cnet.com/ ? Most times Buy.com is a good place to buy stuff and they currently have $10 off coupons for both newbies and returning customers. Also, I believe they are doing "free shipping" for a limited time.
Hope that helps!

well...what is the cheapest price that you have found? i am fairly certain (like 90%) that the price i can get will be better, but...you'd have to be (or know) a college or graduate student or faculty/staff of a university.

Microsoft has a program called direct access that has some cheap treats. Its $99 for the phat suite w/front page and access and photodraw plus the regular stuff - word and excel etc.. Also includes a "training" cd that looks good. I got this and the windows 2000 kit too, lots of goodies. Thats by far the best deal for "office", but don't know about front page stand alone. Hope that helps.

Is microsoft the only one that sells direct access?

Isn't this cheaper than Office 2000 by it self?

you can buy the academic version (if you're a student) for around $65 online www.pricewatch.com. (http://www.pricewatch.com.) The upgrade is $55.

you're better off doing what he said about checking out the direct access thing from microsoft. you pay around 100.00 and get more than just frontpage. you get the whole office suite.
GREAT VALUE!!

$49.95 for Web Easy - a GUI WWW site builder. I have tried them ALL and nothing comes close to ease of use than this s/w. I sold my FrontPage on e-Bay. You can start building pages w/o opening the darn manual. Not a lot of bells and whistles - but who needs them - just nice down and dirty WWW pages! Take a look - you can't go wrong.

This isn't totally legal, but www.warez.com (http://www.warez.com) usually will post a direct download somewhere if you're willing to sit around all day to get office 2000 with frontpage in it.

Please kill this message if it's agains board policies.

What do you do if you dont work for a company that they say you have to work for? (for direct access)

Make up a company woz. I got Win2000 from Microsoft through the Direct Access program.

This is a legitimate deal and is a SMOKIN deal on either the win2k or the office suite. It is the big daddy $400 suite for $99. You can NOT beat that price. The only catch is it's NFR (not for resale), so dont buy it and put it up for sale on ebay or you'll be breaking the law. The win2k deal is even sweeter as it is worth about $2500 if you had the need to buy it all (professional, server and advanced server, and no these are not the 120 day trial versions) Server and advanced server both come with 5 or 10 seat licenses, used in conjunction, you could have a fully licensed win2k network for up to 20 people for 120. You are not going to beat this deal. As far as companys go... just make one up. They don't check into the companys to make them legit.

hey woz...i'm a student and msft made a pact with all the university's in ohio and made all of there softwrae availible free to all full-time students...at Ohio state, you pay 99$ for about 2000$ worth of software, at u of cincinnati you pay 5$ a CD....the money is for the cost of the cd's and stuff....so you may want to check your local uni...or make a friend with a college student..good luck...

Whats this about Direct Access program? I think I remember signing up for a Win2k cd... then they sent me an email saying it would be delayed (this was 2, 3 weeks ago maybe). Is this the same thing? Dude if I can get software legally for cheap I'm all for it. Even if you need a company...I work for a computer company that also does educational stuff...could get it through them. For them, i mean. Anyways, any more info on that stuff post er up here or email me [email protected] please. I'm quite curious.

ok, why just go for frontpage and dreamweaver? let's get some support for the high class page layout programs like (dum dum dum...) Quark Express and the likes. Sure it runs $700+ for most of you guys ($270 for me), but i've never heard complaints about it from any peopl that use it. It is supposed to be, by far, the best program for page layout out there.
