If you want to waste CPU cycles go for it. Otherwise go buy a real modem and sound card. Motherboards with AMR usually make you fiddle with the BIOS and jumpers. Just an overall pain in the rear.

I know your system, don't use AMR.....

You already have the best sound card ans almost best modem, so no need for you....

Oh by the way, AMR is also called CNR, still the same worthless port waster.
