how to check your cc

is there any way anyone can open a cc acount under your name... and if so... how can you check if someone did?

Time for THE COLLECTOR to take the stand.

First off you know what cc's you have. (this is assuming your talking Credit Cards here, otherwise don't mind me)Anyway, you know what cards you have. If you think there are more out there under your name you can have a Credit Report pulled that will show everything listed under your name. This will tell you once and for all is someone did open one without you knowing. Even if you are a co-signer it will show up on the credit report. Pull out the yellow pages and look under credit. There are only three national credit reporting agencys. You can all so check with your local bank or accounting firm. They can pull a credit report for you for a small fee and proper I.D.
If you know someone who is a car dealer they can pull one too.

Also if you happen to know what kind of card was opend you can just call up the company and say you forgot your account number and give them the SS # and they will tell you if you have an account or not.
