I have a couple hundred bucks to blow and I'm thinking about ordering a few As Seen On Tv products over eBay. I have the following in mind:
Flowbee (Automatic Haircutter)
Foodsaver Vacuum
Smart Clapper
The Garden Claw
I don't really need these things but I think it'd be fun to play with them for a weekend or two. The foodsaver might even be practical. :)
I was wondering, do any of you have these items or any other products from tv that you have opinions on? I'd like to hear them before I buy anything stupid.

I really enjoy my Aerobed
You might want to pick up one of those, for overnight college guests (ie. girlfriend) they beds they provide are way too small.

I know someone who used a flowbee once. Once.
His friends still won't let him live it down.

I used an EPILADY shaver once on my husbands leg-the hair never grew back. I told him to equate the pain of it with childbirth.

yeah women bitch about childbirth cause they've just never been hit in the balls. If they only knew they'd shut up. Not to mention the fact that women only go through it a couple times in their lifetime were ass with men theres a constant risk.
If you don't really need anything and just wanna play around, I suggest the Dremel Digital. I've never used the digital drill before, but I've used the original Dremel drill and it works great. I even cut through a sheet of metal with one of the bits! The Dremel Digital has more bits and more functions, I'm sure some much better than the original.

Ya mean your girlfriend sleeps on an aerobed when she visits? <smirk>

Hey, I forgot about the aerobed! Never heard about that drill thing though. Was just checking prices at ebay and the aerobed is definately an option right now. I don't think I'll be getting that garden claw; don't know what I was thinking. :(
EDIT* Also, has anyone ever owned a SMART CLAPPER? I know it's old, but my dad never bought one because he thought it was just a gimmick. Does this thing really work?
Hmm, now that I do some real thinking, NAIR Hair removal comes to mind. I could rip off all my brother's leg hair when he's asleep :)

What exactly does a 15 year old kid in the city need a "Garden Claw" for???
It is useful, just probably not for you.

With, but the patty was fully cooked before the bun was warm enough. :(

Ok, today I went to Longs and got myself this "Magic Hot Plate" or something. The box says that it will keep your pots hot on the table if you put the magic plate in the microwave beforehand.
THIS DOES NOT WORK. Doesn't keep anything warm. Oh well, only lost 2.99
Tomorrow, I'll try out my magic omlett maker.

I tend to prefer to have my "magic omlette maker" spend the night first. That way I don't mind if the eggs aren't perfect :heh:

I've always been inclined to get one. They sell those at Sam's Club too.
So have you tried crushing cans with your Foodsaver yet? :heh:

dont get the smart clapper.... it turns on with any loud noise (except clapping if youll believe it). So when i would walk in the door the lights would go on...now thats fine except that when i closed the door behind me they went back off again...when i would leave...half the time id clap them off then close the door and theyd go back on again. When i would come in with groceries i wouldnt be able to clap the light on ened up dropping food everywhere trying to clap on my knee. while watching tv the thing was a freaking strobe light (beware of seinfeld..too funny... but feel free to watch caroline in the city all night with no problems).....
it was very sporadic in responding to clapping..sometimes it did sometimes it didnt...suffice it to say that i gave it to my fish as a christmas gift and they are enjoying immensley..realy accents the plastic seaweed in their tank.
I actually have a George Foreman grill. (with bun warmer)
I use it almost everyday, it rocks. You haven't lived until you've eaten a pop tart with grill marks. :)
