i just had to say something cuz it was really funny. ok, my girl's b-day party and we all go to this club in phili. on the way back and four of us all crammed in my little eclipse we pull up to this vanilla ice looking guy in a '00 civic si. nice car, etc but he tries to race. i was in 5th gear!!!! and i still pulled on him. dang, i thought for sure with his supar loud exhaust, and him downshifting that he would pull but i kept pulling on him in 5th gear and four people in my car. yeah given my sister and the chosenfool is a combined weight of maybe 95lbs but my girlfriend is a tall 140lbs. not to mention all the stereo stuff in my car. i weighed my wires only at 38lbs once. what was even more funny was that at every light, v-ice looking guy kept trying to race. time and time again i would work him. apex? kinda like that time you passed the sentra and 240 eh?

Street kill story:
My roommate, when he was a young boy, had a mean streak in him (some would call it conduct disorder if you're into DSM-IV) and was riding his bicycle down a hill probably going about 25 mph. Suddenly, a small bird landed in front of his bicycle, a short distance away. Certainly avoidable. Remember the conduct disorder, however. So he swerves to hit the bird and runs it over. Street kill.
He's much nicer now though. Although he did put my other roomate through the wall a few months back.
What? You were talking about cars?

Umm, yeah...I beat down Civics and Integras on any day when my transmission is happy...but I don't have any interesting stories...sorry.

A week ago I went out to my car to find that someone had ripped off all my clear corners. Once I find that person, I'll give you a street kill story.
The neighborhood we must put up with, Ice-9... Do you even have your own parking space? I'm street parking now and it's a biatch. I live on College and Dwight. I tried posting ads up in the nearby apartments to rent a parking space and people were expecting me to pay around $100 a month. Now that's crazy....But after street parking around here for a semester, I feel the $100 might be worth the time I spend at 2am everyday driving round and round the block looking for a place to park.

College and Dwight?! Damn, you live like a block from me! I'm at 2631 College, sort of at College and Parker. I have a driveway, thank god, so I always have a parking spot. But my roommates and I have daily battles over the spaces in it, because there's really only two spaces and we have three cars, so somebody always gets blocked in. Only my car here next year, though. Hell, when they leave next semester, I'll rent you the extra space cheap!

Yeah... Berkeley is bad.
My brother had his turbo Integra ripped off there about 3 years ago. And now he drives a truck. :P

I don't know. Stupid weather. 'Sposed to be 70s next week, though.
Seriously, I will rent you the space, though - I'll let you know when the guys who are here currently move out.

Wurd to yo mutha!
But seriously, I was sitting at a traffic light in my slick 91 Escort when this chico in a 72 chevy pickup pulls up next to me. he gives me the look, so as soon as the light turned green, I floored it popped the clutch, peeled out, and smoked the guy! He never saw it comin!! :D

This is not a specific street kill story, but I am just continually amazed at the number of "fast" cars that I fly by in my Geo Metro. I only have 55hp, and I regularly blow off Vettes, Camaros, RX7s, etc. I have just about the SLOWEST car in this country, and it's mind-boggling how many fast-car owners don't even try to keep up.
This is not a brag about my Metro (are you kidding?), but a complaint of how many slow drivers we have out there.
To all those who would gladly pass me at full throttle - I salute you. :D

Yeah, it always bothers me when people who drive fast cars don't drive FAST. Give me your damn Corvette, I'll show you what to do with it!
The worst I've seen was some lawyer type in a brand new 996 Turbo (0-60 in 4 flat, 190 or so top speed) just put-putting along on the highway. I did everything I could to goad him into showing off some speed, but I swear he never even looked at me. Loser.

Hell, I was disappointed when I flew by the Skyline a while back. Here I am with my brother in his Hyundai, and I pass him doing 80 while he's crawling along at 65 measly miles per hour! That's what you call blasphemous and a humungous waste of effort. You imported that car for what? Show off?
That surely wasn't me. Last time I drove a GT-R I was flying.

HAPOO said, "a while back I was crusin' around in my 00' civic when this dork in an eclipse pulled up on my side and tried to race me..."
you neversaid the outcome of this? what happened?i dont mean to start a honda/dsm war or anything but unless the honda is supercharged, nos, turbo , or severe engine build up, it ISNT gonna hang w/ my car. last week at the track i raced a 94 5.0 stang w/ cams, gears, ram air, exhasut, headers, limited slip, ignition, some other stuff and slicks. took him. ate him and crapped him out. the only honda on the streets that can hang with me is my friends turbocharged integra engine powered civic. that was a pretty quick car.

Am I an idiot, hapoo, or was that what you meant?

Yep, I was at the stop light near Tyler mall in Riverside and needed to move over to the far left lane to take a left onto Magnolia (I figure there are so many SoCal dwellers here it might be pertinant...) and my 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT was next to this new (cause it had dealer plate thingys) is on my left. The guy tries to race me and I beat him (like a 3000 ft. sprint)
But my motor like sounds shit funny and I am like crap...
It turns out that I broke a rod...
I went to boarding school the next year and my dad turned it in for a tax refund (charity donation...)
And later my brother's freinds are hanging out at my house and the idiot mentions how my little brother used to do doughnuts and race my car and shit...
and here I was thinking that my one race with my car ruined it...
that snot nosed bastard...
well I love the guy but seriously...his freinds need to learn to shut it...
I am paying my own car bills now so I wont to shit to my car that would spoil the factory warrenty...gotta last!

This isn't much of a kill story. It's just a story trying to bust a kill on me, but ended up looking stupid. I was driving my 01 MB C320 on Century near LAX and a silver M3 coupe pulled up behind me. We raced down Century at around 100mph. The M3 took the lead and gunned it on to the 405. In doing this, do driver lost control and spun out on the onramp and ended up facing oncoming traffic. I just rolled by him and laughed.

mu hahaha..that's pretty funny!!
Well, this isn't a street kill story, but it's a story of how I almost got killed by some spoiled ass, road-raged, snot-nose, yuppie fucker. Well, I was driving down the highway and as I change lanes I didn't see this huge rangerover coming up behind me, so it turns out I accidently cut him off. He highbeams me, honks, and does all the crazy shit that an impatient fuck will do. A couple seconds later, he zooms by me, pulls right in front of me and steps on the breaks so that I almost crash into his reaer end. I miss him by an inch. Now I'm tailing him at 15 MPH on the freeway and this dork won't let me pass him. He'll get out of the way for a second and when I try to pass him, he'll cut in front of me and block me. And he randomly hits the breaks to scare me. He happened to be going the same direction as me so we're doing this for nearly 10 minutes. What am I supposed to do here? I had a passenger in the car, so obviously safety first. I know my crappy car can't outspeed him. I figured next time this happens, I'll just call the police on my cell and report him. Then I'd follow him just to see him get pulled over and arrested. But what are the chances I'll meet him again? Any suggestion on what you would have done in my situation?

Do what my friend did. He stopped the car, and when the other driver got out and started to yell at him, his sister got out the other side and locked the bastard's car running in the middle of the freeway and got back in the car. As soon as this happened they took off! :heh:
He did this to some fools in an Acura on the 405 S in Irvine.

Actually, if an accident happens, depending on the situation, can be considered a felony assult w/ the the car considered a weapon.
In the case where a lady lost her child (pregnant), the person who did that to her got locked up for a few dozen years.

Me or him? If he braked on purpose to scare me and then I ram him from him behind, could it still be his fault if the situation is considered?
