My Acer/IBM 18.1" LCD from eCOST.com arrived yesterday. The first thing I noticed is that it saves up lots of space compared with my Iiyama 19" flat screen CRT and much lighter. (isn't that obvious?) Installation is no hassle at all under Win2k and Win98 (dual boot).

The still picture quality is sharp. I tried to play several mpeg movie and for 0.28 pitch pixel, this is superb. I'd like to thank Got Apex? crews for this great LCD deal! Thank you, Leon! <big smile>

I will try to play some games using monitor and post up some feedbacks about it. Also, I'll also try to install it under Windows EX beta 2 if there is anyone interested in the result.

Peace.

Any feedback yet? I want to know how the game playing went. I am thinking about ditching my CRT for a TFT.
Also is the mount for the monitor switchable? Or rather is it possible to put another stand on?

Thanks

To answer your questions,

The monitor does not have DVI.

I don't think the mount is switchable.

I thought nobody is interested in this LCD so I didn't bother to post up any feedbacks. I've been busy lately with school. Will post feedback on gaming in couple days.
