So I'm trying to sort out an ongoing refund problem with buy.com. I call up the ol' CS 888 number: they've stopped their call center. Now it's e-mail only, and they promise to get back to me in a spritely 8 hours.

I guess when the market tanks, the idea is to...lose customers faster. Great idea, buy!
