I purchased two sets of these knives right before x-mas, gave one to my sister.
For 99 cents you can't beat it. A knife is a knife...blah, blah.
The knives you receive aren't going to be like the ones in the pic though. They're smaller and thin (they wobble when your cutting something).
What I'm thinking is that why the hell would he have almost 2000 sets of knives???

You'd think that the material cost alone would be over 99cents. But then I guess they make money off the shipping --> $4.95

I bought my ginsu 2000 knives from eBay in December.
They were .01 plus 3.99 shipping.
THESE ARE CRAPPY KNIVES. The handle is made out of light, thin, cheap plastic and their molds are terrible and uneven. The blades cannot cut through a lead pipe or even smoothly through a tomato.
I use the knives to slice through packaging tape :)

Me Too (only it was 2 years ago).
I then used them in an ecommerce pitch I was making at a local dot com and somehow managed to actually sell them to one of the people listening to the presentation (for about $10 if I remember)
Yes, the quality is questionable, but they do cut and even if one breaks you have about 13 more!
