I am having a problem. Two of my friends live together and DSL. They only have one IP so they can't play online at the same time with other people. Is there a program that will solve this problem?

My friend and I had the same thing.. a shared DSL in school... and we could play games together fine. But, if for some reason you can't, I'd think you're best bet would be to go out and get a Cable/DSL router. They're not terribly expensive anymore.

Maybe I ddn't do a good job of explaining it. They have DSL and they are only allowed 1 ip for whatever reason. I live down the street. When we try to play age of empires online it doesn't work. Red Alert 2 works, but every other game we have tried doesn't.

SMC Barricade 4 port router with Print Server should do you fine. You can usually get it for around $80. Plus, a lot of G|A regulars have this router, and can help you if you ever need any tech support.

The dsl router that I have is the linksy dsl/cable router and I have been having problems with letting that work the game we are trying to play is AOE2 microsofts game. I have seen a method to use directplay8 and ICSS to get this to work but it must be used under win me. I was wondering do you guys have any idea on how to get this to work with this router? instead of the SMC barricade
