i have a friend in colorado that needs help finding this one guy she is looking for. she only knows that his first name is mario. she doesnt have his last name. she knows that he is an electrician, and that he is probably italian, because of the way he pronounces his name.

does anyone here have any ideas on where she could post stuff or otherwise find this guy?

i was actually waiting for at least one wise comment. i am disappointed that i have only gotten one so far :disa: . oh well...but a serious one would help my friend a lot too :)

does he own or work for an electric company? If he owns it he shouldnt be to hard to find

she met him on a bus. he probably doesnt own his own company.

the chances that someone named "Mario" would have an Italian sounding last name are about equal to the chance that "Pedro" would have a Hispanic last name and "Sigfried" would have a Germanic one.

Also, although there are state licenses for electricians, with only a first name, it will be basically impossible.

Think about it, if she sees:

Mario Passarelli, Mario Andretti, Mario Angelini, Mario Tortelini (and about 1000 more)

which one would it be? If she says "Were you the Mario that had a one night stand with me?" chances are the guilty part would probably lie (maybe he was married) and the others might lie the other way (hoping to get some)

I can help you with government records, but that is not enough to go on.

zactly. it's pretty rough....that was my point. anyhow, i figgered that...well, ya never know. as unlikely as stuff may be, someone may be saying "hey, that's me" or "hey, i know that guy." thing of it is, there is just the one guy that she is looking for, and she would know him if she saw a pic or something. i wish she had a last name on him, but then she woulda found him by now. or even a birth date....something. as impossible as it seems, it is more impossible if nobody tries.
