It seems my hands might be tied on this. I'm at work right now and can't verify that my rebate forms actually said write that rebate number on the envelope, but I'm pretty meticulous about this sort of crap.

Anyhow, I bought a few things back in December. Sent my forms in January and didn't hear a thing back. Wrote to them in the beginning of April, and this is the reply I just received today:

Dear Timothy,

Thank you for contacting us. Please excuse our delay in response. We have been receiving an unusually high volume of e-mails and are working on responding to them as quickly as possible.

Our records indicate that the Q-bate code was not written on the envelope of your submission. As specified on your Q-bate form, this code must be written on the lower left hand corner of your submission envelope. Unfortunately, without this code on the submission envelope, we are unable to honor this Q-bate submission.

If there is anything else I can do for you, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Janet

Subject: qbate status

Hi there,

I placed an order (#32821) back in December. It's been close to four months now. I sent in my qbate form in January, however my Q-bate status still says pending. Is there any particular reason this is taking so long?

Thank you,
Tim

As you can imagine, I'm a little irked by this and would like to try and fight it. Anybody have any suggestions?

thanks

This is an awful company when it comes to customer service;
they often do not write people back. As this is the only means of communication they offer their customers I am amazed they are still in business and I find it gut wrenching that places like dealhunting.com is a HUGE advocate for their services (since they get kickbacks from refering people).
Bottom line is that they have THE WORST customer service I have ever come across thus far.

My advice to you is to avoid this place!!

If you have already bought from them, make sure you do everything exactly as required when sending in the "q-bate" forms. Check back at the site often to see if they have "received" your rebate papers yet. If they haven't received them and it is getting within a month of their expiration e-mail them over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. If this does not get it resolved then I believe they have a phone number which will show up on your credit card which they billed for your purchase...ahhh..yes, here it is
1(516)2391860. Ask for Josh G. since he is their "customer service manager".
