Is this $2.95 magazine subscription for REAL?

Is this $2.95 magazine subscription for REAL? There are some decent magazines in there. And $2.95 doesn't make much sense considering that it costs about $1.25 to print the average full-color magazine! Has anyone gotten the first issue of their magazine yet?

Yeah, it's for real. Clearing houses like them can buy in bulk down to $1.xx per annual subscription, so they make some money, though not a lot. It's a numbers game for them.

I got my first 2 issues, April and May together of Elle last night. I suppose better late than never on the April issue. Hopefully going forward it will be more timely like my other subscriptions.
